At Little Harvest Academy, my vision is to create a community where families feel empowered and confident in their educational journey. I strive to not only enhance academic abilities but also cultivate confidence and self-assurance in every child I work with. I recognise the importance of parent involvement and aim to provide a safe space for families to ask questions and learn about how to support your child's education.

My Story
Hello! I'm Sarah Shaw, the proud owner and founder of Little Harvest Academy. My journey in education began with a childhood filled with a deep desire to teach and work with children. Growing up in a family of educators, I often found myself playing 'teachers' with my little sister in my mother's classroom after school, where my passion for teaching first took root.
During my gap year, I had the wonderful opportunity to work as an education assistant in Kindy at my school. It was during this time that I fell head over heels in love with my work. Witnessing the joy and growth in each child's learning journey was incredibly rewarding, and I realised that this wasn't just a job—it was my calling.
Teaching and inspiring students has become my life's purpose. I am deeply dedicated to helping children understand and overcome obstacles so they can create the lives they dream of. One of my proudest accomplishments is teaching students to read and guiding them to become thriving, independent readers.
Over the past decade, I've dedicated myself to working with children in various roles within the education system, the last five of these were spent as a Primary Classroom Teacher, which I found to be an incredibly rewarding experience.
At Little Harvest Academy, I am committed to nurturing and empowering every child who walks through our doors. Together, we'll cultivate a love for learning, foster confidence, and celebrate the unique journey of each student.
